Notice of the passing of Susumu Shono, former president and chairman of the board of directors of the Kunitachi Kunitachi College of Music and professor emeritus

We regret to announce that Susumu Shono, former president and chairman of the board of trustees Kunitachi College of Music, and professor emeritus, passed away on October 4, 2023. We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the kindness shown to us during his lifetime. The funeral has already been held with only close relatives in attendance.
A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

1979 (Showa 54) Completed doctoral course in Aesthetics and Art Studies Graduate School College
Part-time lecturer Kunitachi College of Music since 1980

Professor at Kunitachi College of Music from 1993 (until March 2013)
From 1999 (Heisei 11) to March 2013 (Heisei 25), he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Kunitachi Kunitachi College of Music.
