Faculty of Music

The curriculum at Kunitachi College of Music is not limited to any particular department or major.
This is our unique educational system that allows each student to study the field they wish to pursue over a four-year period.

At Kunitachi College of Music, you can further deepen the broad knowledge you have acquired in the basic course in the specialized course.
We have a learning system consisting of 1 faculty, 2 departments, 2 majors, and 9 specializations.

Advanced Course

Specialized course subjects that are open to third- and fourth-year students are now open to alumni (including those from other institutions) so that they can take them.

Course Students

We offer necessary courses for graduates who are aiming to obtain teaching licenses or curatorial qualifications.

Diploma Course

This course is for those who wish to further hone their specialized practical skills after graduation (opened in 2019).

We invite top performers and musicians from Japan and abroad to give public lessons and lectures.

Domestic and International Training

There is a system to provide financial assistance to undergraduate students with excellent academic records who wish to receive training at domestic or overseas seminars and other events and who are highly motivated to research.

Exchange Student Program

In order to cultivate talented individuals who can thrive not only as musicians but also as international citizens, we have concluded exchange agreements with College overseas and is promoting mutual personnel exchange.
