Kunitachi College of Music signs partnership agreement with Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education
On October 31, 2024, Kunitachi College of Music (pronounced: Kunitachi Ongaku Daigaku, location: Tachikawa City, President: Umemoto Minoru, hereinafter referred to as "this corporation (this college)") signed a collaboration agreement with the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education.
Our corporation (university) has previously concluded agreements with Tachikawa City, Kunitachi City, Musashimurayama City, Ome City, Hamura City, the New National Theatre Management Foundation (a public interest incorporated foundation), Tachihi Education and Culture Promotion Association (general incorporated association), Kanro Co., Ltd., Inageya Co., Ltd., Tokyo Opera City Cultural Foundation (a public interest incorporated foundation), and the Ome Sato Foundation (a public interest incorporated foundation). This time, we have concluded an agreement with the Tokyo Metropolitan Board of Education, and will provide support for realizing local collaboration and local transition of school club activities by promoting collaboration with Tokyo's public junior high schools and metropolitan junior high schools, etc., making use of our specialized educational and research capabilities.
We will continue to promote collaboration with society and the local community through music in order to contribute to solving local issues and creating and developing a vibrant local community.
