Kunitachi College of Music will be exhibiting at the Tama Future Collaboration EXPO 2025.

The Tama Future Collaboration EXPO is an exhibition where 41 organizations, including various academic institutions, local governments, and industrial support organizations from Tama and neighboring areas, participate, allowing visitors to discover research results, social collaboration, and practical initiatives.

Program of the day

At Kunitachi College of Music booth, poster presentations are scheduled to be held on the following themes. (The content may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.)

  • Introduction to Community Music Therapy 
    [Thursday, December 18, 10:00-11:30 Music Therapy]

    Community music therapy, which fosters social connections and cultural identity through music, will be introduced with practical examples.
    *Recommended for: Companies and organizations interested in building local communities, supporting places to stay, wellbeing, etc. through music.

  • Introduction of Music Therapy Study Group (visiting performances and music therapy activities at welfare facilities and hospitals)
    [Thursday, December 18, 10:00-12:30 Music Therapy]

    We will introduce music therapy/visiting performance activities at welfare facilities and hospitals by students and graduates, and present examples of community cooperation so far.
    * Recommended: Companies and organizations that can continuously collaborate on music activities in the community, such as welfare for the elderly and disabled, hospitals, child welfare, local governments, and NPOs.

  • Music Therapy using ICT
    [Friday, December 19th, 10:00-12:00 Music Therapy]

    You can experience playing InstaChord's "Complete -KANTAN Play Core-".
    * recommendation: Companies and organizations interested in developing musical instruments and support tools to create performance opportunities for people with disabilities

  • Report on the "Tanabata Festival + Singing Circle Mukku"
    [December 18th (Thurs) 10:30-16:00 Music Education for Early Childhood]

    We will introduce practical examples of child-rearing support that utilizes the unique strength of a music university: musical expression.
    * recommendation: Companies and organizations interested in childcare support, creating places for children, childcare and early childhood education, etc.
